This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Nitpeak Technologies Private Limited ("Nitpeak," "we," "us," or "our") collects through nitpeaktechnologies.com (the "Site"), why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it.
In one line: We collect only what you give us through our forms, we use it only for the purpose you submitted it for, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
A note on Indian data protection law: The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDPA") has been enacted and is being brought into force in phases following the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025. As of the effective date of this policy, the Data Protection Board of India has been established, but the substantive compliance obligations under the Act — including detailed notice-and-consent mechanics, data breach reporting timelines, and obligations specific to Significant Data Fiduciaries — are scheduled to come into full force on 13 May 2027. We have voluntarily aligned this policy with the principles of the DPDPA ahead of that date as a matter of good practice, and we will update this policy as further provisions are notified and come into effect.

3.Website Analytics
To understand how visitors use this Site, we log the following for each page view:
- The page path visited (e.g. /about.html)
- The referring website, if any (the domain only, not the full URL)
- Device type (desktop, mobile, or tablet), inferred from your browser's user agent
- A one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address, combined with the date and a secret value, so that your actual IP address is never stored and cannot be recovered from the hash
This data is used only in aggregate to understand which pages are visited and how, and is not linked back to any individual's identity. It is not shared with or sold to any third party.
4.How We Use Your Personal Data
We use the personal data you submit strictly for the purpose you submitted it for:
- Careers applications: to evaluate your application and contact you about the role you applied for.
- Partnership/investor inquiries: to respond to your inquiry and, if relevant, follow up about a potential partnership or investment conversation.
- Press inquiries: to respond to journalists and media contacts.
- General contact submissions: to respond to your message.
We do not use your personal data for any purpose beyond what you submitted it for, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5.Basis For Processing Your Data
We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you provide by voluntarily submitting a form on this Site. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 1. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of anything we did with your data before you withdrew consent.
6.How Long We Keep Your Data
- Careers applications, including resumes: retained for as long as necessary to evaluate the application and consider you for future roles, and deleted or anonymised when no longer needed for these purposes, or earlier upon your request.
- Partnership, press, and contact submissions: retained for as long as necessary to respond to and resolve your inquiry, or until you request deletion.
- Analytics data: page-view records are retained in aggregate form; the hashed IP cannot be reversed to identify you and is rotated daily (a new hash is generated each day), so no long-term identifier is retained.
7.Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your data may only be accessed by:
- Nitpeak's own directors and authorised team members, for the purpose of responding to your submission.
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers, solely to the extent necessary to operate this Site (e.g. our web server and database host), who are bound to handle data securely and not use it for their own purposes.
- Law enforcement or regulatory authorities, only if required by applicable Indian law.
We do not transfer personal data outside India except where our hosting infrastructure requires it, and in all cases we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this policy.
8.Your Rights
We recognise the following rights over your personal data, consistent with the principles of the DPDPA:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- Request erasure of your personal data, where it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected for.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Register a grievance with us regarding how your data has been handled.
Once the relevant provisions of the DPDPA come into full force, you will also have the right to escalate an unresolved grievance to the Data Protection Board of India. To exercise any of the rights above, contact us at the email address in Section 1, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
9.How We Protect Your Data
We take reasonable security measures appropriate to the nature of the data we hold, including:
- Passwords are never stored in plain text; they are hashed using industry-standard algorithms.
- Access to submitted data is restricted to authenticated, authorised team members only.
- Resume files and form data are stored on access-controlled infrastructure not directly browsable by the public.
- All form submissions are protected against cross-site request forgery and validated on our servers.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and while we work to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
10.Children's Data
This Site is intended for use by adults in a professional, business, or careers context, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11.Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law — including as further provisions of the DPDPA and its rules come into force. The "Effective date" at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
